Authentication Method
- AUTO — automatic selection of authentication type depending on the server;
- PAP (Password Authentication Protocol) — verification protocol that sends a username and password to an authentication server without encryption;
- CHAP (Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol) — verification protocol with negotiation, the user's password is encrypted, and authentication takes place in three stages;
- MSCHAP — negotiated verification protocol where Server and Client verifications are mutually exchanged;
- MSCHAPV2 — improved version of MSCHAP;
- EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) — the protocol that defines the structure of authentication with the transfer of keys and their processing for wireless networks and point-to-point connections.
-
Access Concentrator Name
- The value of the Host-Uniq tag in the PADI message that specifies the name of the Access Concentrator (optional field)
-
Service Name
- The value of the Service Name tag in the PADI message (optional field)
-
Get DNS automatically
- If the flag is set, DNS settings will be received automatically from configuration or PPPoE server
-
IPv6 Assignment Method
- Stateful DHCPv6 — mode with configuring the address and network settings over DHCPv6, the gateway
is acquired over ICMPv6; routing and prefix delegation to the local network are provided;
Stateless DHCPv6+SLAAC — the mode of operation with address configuration via ICMPv6 and DHCPv6.
The gateway is set to ICMPv6; routing and prefix delegation in the local network are provided;
SLAAC — the mode with setting the address and network settings via ICMPv6;
routing and prefix delegation to the local network are possible only through setting the fixed prefix on LAN;
Fixed IP — the mode with configuring the address and network parameters manually;
routing and prefix delegation to the local network are possible only through setting the fixed prefix on LAN;
Autodetection — the mode with the automatic configuration of the address and network settings via
ICMPv6/DHCPv6; routing and prefix delegation to the local network are provided:
- Get DNS automatically — when checked, DNS settings will be obtained via ICMPv6/DHCPv6
(depending on the settings in the router advertisement);
- Preferred DNS Server — setting the main DNS server address;
- Alternative DNS Server — setting the additional DNS server address;
- DS-Lite — technology which set the address that allows IPv4 access without chainging user software.
